Nestled in the scenic Hills District of Sydney, Australia, Aviani Persimmon Farm has been a family-run orchard since 1993, proudly growing fresh, locally grown persimmons for over 30 years. Run by three generations of the Aviani family, our farm is dedicated to producing high-quality persimmons with care and tradition.

Our harvest runs from March to early June each year, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy farm-fresh persimmons at their peak. Located just 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, we offer both pre-picked persimmons and an exciting persimmon picking experience during the season.

Our 2025 persimmon harvest has now come to an end. Pick Your Own sessions have finished, and we are now SOLD OUT of all persimmons at the packing shed.

The farm will re-open to the public in March 2026, with Pick Your Own sessions starting in April.

Pick Your Own

PERSIMMON PICKING WILL RETURN IN APRIL 2026

Love picking fresh fruit? Join us for a persimmon picking adventure! Our Pick Your Own (PYO) sessions allow you to harvest delicious, sweet Fuyu persimmons (sweet and crunchy) or Nightingale & Yemon (soft varieties) straight from the tree. Picking sessions will return in 2026.

Prefer not to pick your own? Our fresh-picked persimmons are available in trays at the shed—ready to take home! No appointment is necessary.

Opening hours are 8am-4pm, 7 days a week during harvest, including public holidays. No booking is necessary. Check the Latest News section (above) for the most up-to-date information. For any enquiries, including to check fruit availability, phone 0493 702 541.
